Anna Glorine Grau Kaser, 98, formally of New Paris, died Friday night, October 16, 2009, at the Greencroft Nursing Center. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on May 27, 1911 to Oscar J. and Geneva (Johnson) Grau. She married Dwight Wilson Kaser on May 10, 1947. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1987 Mrs. Kaser taught art and music in the public school systems, and she also gave private instructions at home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Goshen, and the United Methodist women. She graduated from Greentown High School and DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana. She is survived by one nephew, James F. Schmidt of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Schmidt. Family and friends will meet at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, at 10:30 A.M. for an 11:00 A.M. graveside service at Baintertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or DePauw University.
