Anna S. Garratt

Anna S. Garratt, 92, formerly of Goshen, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living, Granger.

She was born November 14, 1926 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania to Ardell and Emma (Daniel) Shook.

On June 24, 1962 she married Everett Garratt.  He died March 13, 2013.

Survivors include a son, Mark (Mary Lou) Garratt of Goshen; step-children, Judi Garratt of Glendale, California, David (Joan) Garratt of Arroyo Grande, California, and Beth Sommer of Henderson, Nevada; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Pamela Jo Garratt, four sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Garratt was a loving homemaker and wife.  She and her husband resided in Canton, Ohio, for many years, and were active members of the Church of the Lakes United Methodist Church. In retirement, Anna and Everett spent 24 years enjoying life in Winter Haven, Florida, where they attended St. Johns United Methodist Church.

Cremation has taken place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.

Her final resting place will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Canton, Ohio.
