Ann Musselman Naylor, 68, of Goshen, died at her home, late Wednesday night, October 27, 2010. She had been ill with ovarian cancer under hospice care for the last nine weeks. She was born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 1942, to the late Howard Yoder and Ruth Miller Musselman. She married Lewis Metzler Naylor on June 27, 1964 in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Daniel (Michelle) Naylor of Gurnee, Illinois; a granddaughter, Juliet; and a sister, Joyce (Earl) Shutt of Fairfield, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Lee Naylor and a sister, Janet (Paul) Snyder. A registered dietician, Mrs. Naylor had worked at Anne Arundel County Health Department in Annapolis, Maryland. She was a researcher at Cornell University and lecturer at Ithica College. She was an active member of Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen, and was a counselor with Ryan's Place. She graduated from Bluffton College and Iowa State University. She had served with Teachers Abroad Program under Mennonite Central Committee in Tanzania, East Africa. She enjoyed herb gardening. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 31, and 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 6, at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Eighth Street Mennonite Church with Pastors Brenda Sawatzky Paetkau and Kevin Farmwald officiating. Her body will be cremated by Yoder-Culp Crematory and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Ryan's Place.
