Ann Joy Archias

Ann Joy Archias, 90, of Goshen and formerly of Geneva, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born January 21, 1927 in Chicago to George and Ann (Wineman) Shoonmaker.

On January 10, 1948 she married Richard Archias in Chicago.

He survives along with a son, Andrew (Leonor) Archias of Osceola; a daughter, Susan (Charles) Winker of Brenham, Texas; two grandchildren, Aaron and Andrea and a sister, Joan Lid of Wheaton Illinois.

Mrs. Archias moved to Goshen three years ago from Geneva, Illinois where she worked as a secretary for Geneva City Hall and was a member of the Geneva Presbyterian Church.

She was a doll collector and a member of a doll club and donated dolls to needy children.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and services and burial will take place in Geneva, Illinois at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
