Anita Faye Blankenship, 52, of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2015 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born July 21, 1963 in Lexington, Kentucky to Wilbur and Fern (Sexton) Ross. On June 21, 1986 she married Wallace Blankenship in Benton. He survives along with a daughter, Anitra (Chance Goble) Blankenship of Goshen; her mother, Fern Ross of Goshen; a granddaughter, Abigayle Blankenship-Goble; two sisters, Sheila (Richard) Stilley and Vicki (Rich) Vanover, both of Goshen; two special great-nieces/daughters, Ryleigh and Callie Ross; many other nieces and nephews; and her mother and father-in-law, Betty and Larry Landaw of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Ross and a sister, Becky Ross. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Blankenship graduated from Goshen High School in 1981. She was active in the youth bowling at Maple City Bowl and she served on the board of the Goshen Little League. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan. GO BIG BLUE! Friends may call Thursday, September 3, 2915, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 4. Rev. Mike Kelley, Word of Truth Ministries, Milford, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
