Anfisa Parkhomey, 91, of Goshen, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at her home. She was born on January 19, 1922 in Dovgoshii, Ukraine. In 1946 she married Mikolay Parkhomey in Ukraine. She is survived by her children, Vira Kidun, of Goshen, Antonina Leukhina , of Rivne, Ukranine, Lidiya Nikolaychuk, of Goshen, Nina Zozulya, of Cleveland, Ohio, Yuliya Sakhan, of Vineland, New Jersey, and Olga Panchelyuga, of Goshen; 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers and sisters. A local resident for several years, she was a member of the Slavic Baptist Church, Elkhart. An 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, funeral will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Her grandson, Rev. Victor Kidun, will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
