Rev Andrew L. Hardie

Rev. Andrew L. Hardie, 78, of Syracuse, died Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2006 at Goshen General Hospital.   He was born February 27, 1928, in Toronto, Canada. On August 3, 1951, he married Annie Laurie Ogilvie in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She survives.   Rev. Hardie was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen from 1955 to 1990.   He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Heather Allison Hardie Harwood (Hamilton) of Syracuse; one son, George Thomas Hardie of Syracuse; one brother, Bill Hardie of Dover, Delaware; one sister, Peg Hardie Eidson of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; and one grandchild.   Rev. Hardie was preceded in death by his parents.   Friends may call Tuesday, March 28, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Goshen.   A 2:00 p.m. funeral service is planned for Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church of Goshen.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Goshen.
