Andre Y. Veenstra

Andre “Andy” Veenstra, 76, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born April 11, 1945 in Holland to Andries and Sonja (Von Dijk) Veenstra.

On July 23, 1988 he married Leila Slabach in Goshen.

She survives along with four children, Jason (Lori) Veenstra of Goshen, Jessica Mahoney of Elkhart, Alice (Sammy) Krucek of Hammond and Abe (Michelle) Slabach of Elkhart; six grandchildren and two siblings, Marijanne (Hilton) Rauch of Shipshewana and John (Sharon) Veenstra of LaGrange.

Andy worked for Burger Dairy for 38 years and retired from Dairy Farmers of America in 2016.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. John Veenstra will officiate.
