Amos R. Stutzman, 77, of Syracuse died Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his home.
He was born November 7, 1942 in LaGrange County to Ralph and Edna (Chupp) Stutzman.
He is survived by three sons, Tracey (Maria) Stutzman of Elkhart, Brian (Alane) Stutzman of New Paris and Cooper (Jennifer) Stutzman of Warsaw; a daughter, Wendy (Jerry) Callahan of South Bend; a daughter in law, Angela Stutzman of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie McNabb and Mary Boyd, both of LaGrange; and three brothers, Floyd Stutzman of Ashley, and Willis and Don Stutzman, both of Goshen.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Craig Stutzman, a sister, Betty Eash, and six brothers, Dale, Kenneth “Kenny”, Robert “Bob”, Ralph, Ray and Glenn Stutzman.
Mr. Stutzman was a 1962 graduate of LaGrange High School. He worked as a heavy machine operator for NIPSCO.
Amos enjoyed hunting, woodworking and fishing, especially with his brother, Don.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 5. Pastor Steve Rahn, First Baptist Church, Warsaw will officiate.
Burial will follow at North Webster Cemetery, Mock Edition, North Webster.
