Allen “Al” R. Cline, 49, of New Paris, died Sunday morning, May 25, 2008, at his home. He was born in Warsaw, Indiana on October 12, 1958, to John and Grace Cline of New Paris. He married Lori Davis on October 10, 1987, in New Paris. She survives. Mr. Cline worked as a department manager for Smoker-Craft in New Paris. He attended Fairfield High School. He competed for many years in American Motorcycle Association trials. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to travel and work on engines. He is survived by his wife, Lori; a daughter, Christina (Greg) Cline Schneider of Richmond, Virginia; a son, Michael Cline of Sebastian, Florida; a grandson, Hudson Allen Schneider; and his parents, John and Grace Cline of New Paris. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Roberta Cline. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 29, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Ted Showengerdt of the First Brethren Church in New Paris will officiate. Burial will be in Baintertown Cemetery, New Paris Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Hospital for Children or American Heart Association.
