Allan D. Lantz

Allan D. Lantz, 74, of Goshen passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born June 7, 1951 in Goshen to Delbert E. and June R. (Ettline) Lantz.

On December 16, 1979 he married Lisa M. Johnson. She survives along with their children, Keith (Lauren) Lantz of Winona Lake and Carly Lantz of Goshen; two grandchildren, Avery and Max Lantz-Geyer; a brother, Steven K. (Felippa) Lantz; and a sister, Vickie DeLaruelle.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert E. Lantz.

He spent his career as a talented painter with the last 25 years before retirement working at Goshen Hospital.

Allan was a quiet, gentle, funny, and creative person. He enjoyed music, songwriting, and playing the guitar. He played with numerous bands and for the church, and had a gift for art, especially drawing and carving guitars.

He enjoyed being with family and playing music with friends. He enjoyed contributing to the care of all the animals his family looked after, considering them part of the family.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until the 12 p.m. memorial service. Pastor Mike Overpeck will officiate.
