Alice L. Moles, 86, of Elkhart and formerly of Goshen, died Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born October 7, 1927 in Wevaco, West Virginia, to Enoch and Helen (Brown) Hodge. On November 20, 1960 she married Vesper Moles in Goshen. He died June 12, 1994. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Pearson and Priscilla (Cosmos) Ray, both of Mishawaka and Helen (Richard) Damron of Goshen; two sons, Vernon (Shirley) Moles of Goshen and Ronald Moles of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel Hodge, Mary Jane Moore and Juanita Williams, all of West Virginia; and a sister-in-law, Gertrude Hodge of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, Pearl Hodge; and two brothers, Daniel and Eli Hodge. A member of Church of God of Prophecy Church, Mrs. Moles has lived in the area since 1964. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2013, funeral service will be conducted. Rev. Webster will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Church of God of Prophecy.
