Alice Marie Hite

Alice M. Hite, 84, died early Thursday morning, November 11, 2010, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been less than a month. She was born on April 7, 1926 in Nappanee, to the late Emery L. and Laura (Yoder) Mast.  She married Freeman L. Hite on December 25, 1952 at Goshen City Church of the Brethren.  He died March 22, 2003. Surviving are a sister, Anna Mae (Melvin) Yoder and a sister-in-law, Ruth Elaine Cole Mast, both of Goshen. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Olen and Leon Mast. Mrs. Hite had worked for IXL, Goshen Churn, and retired from Homecrest.  She was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. Friends may call 11 to 1 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1:00 p.m., funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Bev Weaver of Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg. Memorials may be given to Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
