Alfred Looney, 74, of Goshen died Monday morning, June 22, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Wayne. He was born May 16, 1941 in Wilson, Arkansas to Edgar and Lillie (Collins) Looney. On December 22, 1959 he married Beatrice Chalk. She died in 1985. He later married Joann (Snoke) Ringler in Benton on May 25, 1991. She survives along with four sons, Donald, Gary and Thomas Looney and Mike Ringler; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Linville, of Elkhart. Along with his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie, a son, Craig and 11 siblings. Al was a past member of the Benton Free Baptist Church and worked as an electrician in the R.V. manufacturing industry, most recently at Dutch Park Homes. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
