Al J. Graber

Al J. Graber, 80, of Goshen, died Saturday, May 11, 2019, at home.

He was born January 29, 1939 in Etna Green to John J. and Mattie (Nissley) Graber.

On October 3, 1964 he married Marilyn Berry.

She survives along with two children, Karri (Lynn) Miller of Goshen and Douglas (Dee) Graber of Bristol; four grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Lester, Alex Graber and Nicole and Nicholas Miller; three great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Easton and Adelynn Lester; four sisters, Miriam Wagler, Maggie (Terry) Ropp, Fern (Cleveland) Campbell and Jayne (Melvin) Ulshafer and a brother, Lloyd (Marsha) Graber.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harvey and John Jr. Graber and three sisters, Vi Goss, Irene Miller and Esther Beachy.

Al served with the U.S. Army for three years during the Vietnam War.

Al spent time as a dairy farmer and hauled milk for Burger Dairy and then owned and operated Maple City Dispensing and Whispering Springs.

He was a member of First Brethren Church of Goshen, Maplecrest Country Club and Goshen Elks.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Friday funeral service at First Brethren Church, Goshen.  Pastors Cory Smith and John Drexler will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Brethren Church, Goshen or Boys and Girls Club of Goshen.
