Agnes M. Lehman, 89, of Goshen, passed away early Saturday afternoon, February 20, 2010, at her home.  She had been ill for five months. She was born in Fairview, Michigan, on September 2, 1920, to the late Earl and Mary (Rhoads) Hershberger.  She married Reuel S. Lehman on August 6, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan.  He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Jeanne (John) Rothchild, Miami, FL, and Judy (Michael) VanderMaas, Goshen; a son, Bruce (Tonda) Lehman, Goshen; four grandchildren, Blake Lehman, Patrick and Haley Linn and Rhonda Williams; two step-grandchildren, Troy VanderMaas and Stephanie Hershberger; two great-grandsons; a sister, Irma (Don) Parks, of Davison, MI; and a brother, Earl Hershberger of Flint, MI. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Lehman; a granddaughter, McKenna Lehman; two sisters, Velma Bohnet and Wanda Forrest; and a brother, Gerald Hershberger. A Goshen resident since 1946, Mrs. Lehman graduated from Davison High School in 1939.  She was a homemaker and a member of College Mennonite Church where she helped in the kitchen. She had waitressed at Southern Style Restaurant; volunteered at Goshen General Hospital and for more than 25 years with the American Red Cross. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church, Goshen.  A 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010, prayer service will be conducted in the Koinonia Room prior to burial in Violett Cemetery.  An 11:00 a.m., memorial service will be held at College Mennonite Church with Pastors Klaudia Smucker and Betty Hochstetler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Blood Drive Fund, College Mennonite Church for the kitchen; or MCC for Haiti Relief.
