Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John F. Trenshaw, and a son, Robert S. Trenshaw.
Mrs. Trenshaw was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering in the school library. She was also an active member of the William Tuffs Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, since 1965.
Kay was a loving homemaker and worked as an administrative assistant for a local accounting firm prior to retirement. She had a soft heart for animals and enjoyed reading. Being a devoted grandmother was her greatest joy.
