Jessie Naomi Artley                                                                                       

Jessie Naomi Artley, 91, of Albion, Indiana, died early Wednesday morning, December 6, 2006, at Avalon Village in Ligonier.

She was born June 9, 1915, in Green Township, Noble County, to Silas and Eulalia (Walburn) Gaff.  She married Russell D. Artley in Ligonier, on May 19, 1951.  He died January 24, 2001.

Mrs. Artley attended Peoples Bible Church.

She is survived by a son, Donald D. (Suzanne) Hoover of Albion; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Max Gaff.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 8, at the funeral home.

A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2006 funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. John Lutton of Ligonier will officiate.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ligonier Church of the Nazarene.
