Harry G. Madison                                                              

Harry G. Madison, 80, of Goshen, died Saturday evening, November 18, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital where he had been a patient one day.

 

He was born in Mitchell, Indiana, on July 30, 1926, to Wayne W. and Flossie M. (Cook) Madison.  He married Glenneth “Rosie” McDermed on May 28, 1949, in Mitchell.  She died December 28, 2004.

 

A resident of Goshen since 1957, Mr. Madison served in World War II with the Army in the South Pacific.  He worked for Abitibi in Middlebury for 31 years.

 

He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Madison of Goshen; two sons, George (Carolyn) Madison and Jeffrey Madison, both of Goshen; four grandchildren and a brother, William H. (Janet) Madison of Venice, Florida.

 

Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, at the funeral home.

 

A 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2006, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Brad Price of the Goshen Church of Christ will officiate.

 

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or Donor’s Choice.
